Writer-director Farhadi alluded to the tensions over his home country.</p>
<p>Amid talk of &#8220;war, intimidation and aggression&#8221; among politicians, he said, Iran is &#8220;spoken here through her glorious culture, a rich and ancient culture that has been hidden under the heavy dust of politics.&#8221;<br />

<p align="Justify">The 37th Annual Cesar Awards ceremony, presented by the French Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques was held on February 24, 2012, at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris. The awards honored the best films of 2011.</p>
<p align="Justify">Farhadi&#8217;s latest drama won the award for best foreign language film at the 69th annual Golden Globe scored Cesar award as well.</p>

<p>But not everyone in Tehran is happy that Asghar Farhadi&#8217;s hugely successful work, &#8220;A Separation&#8221; is now a racing certainty to win an Oscar for the best foreign film at this month&#8217;s Academy Awards.&#8221;</p>
